FULL TECHNIQUES” PROGRAM OF 24 SESSIONS

Session 1: The Success Formula

In this session we show teens that for thousands of years successful people have followed the same strategy; set goals, develop strategies, develop habits, take action, not be afraid of failure, change strategy and persevere. It is not luck, it is a formula.

Session 3: Work on your Beliefs

In this session, adolescents discuss their way of seeing things, the importance of being positive and the risks of negative beliefs. We work on how you can change negative beliefs for positive ones and how that will impact all areas of your life

Session 5: Your Study System

In this session we begin to know the Smart Learning study system: Comprehension Techniques, Synthesis, summary, memory and organization of time, all in the same system that we will train deeply throughout the program

Session 7: Note-taking techniques

In this session, Maria Montessori accompanies us, we debate about the importance of learning in a multisensory way. We learn to do Mind Maps and practice them by making a group map of Bethany Hamilton’s life, a life that inspires.

Session 9: Take Action

In this session we discussed the importance of taking the first step, without fear. Why failure does not exist and why everything is a learning experience. Each student shares their fear of taking action and we motivate each other.

Session 11: Steve Jobs and the Success Formula

In this session teens walk through Steve Jobs’s life using The Success Formula, how he set goals, how he took action, and persevered until he changed the world. We also enjoy Steve Jobs’ speech to Stanford students on their graduation day.

Session 13: Perseverance

In this session we talk about perseverance, each of the adolescents reflects on their life and their ability to persevere. We see two examples of perseverance in Marie Curie and Malala.

Session 15: Feed your brain

In this session we work on health and the 3 main elements to have a long life and a healthy brain: 1) oxygen and sports, 2) water and daily hydration and 3) nutrients and the food pyramid . We also discussed the dangers of alcohol, cigarettes, and drugs.

Session 17: Decide how you feel

In this session we work on the triangle of emotions and how we can use it to our advantage. Worrying about the things you focus on, how you talk to yourself and your body language will help you develop positive and winning emotions.

Session 19: Learn to Code

In this session we get into technology and the importance of knowing how to code, we explore the different applications for learning and the need for self-learning because the educational system is not doing it. We also discuss topics such as Artificial Intelligence, the Internet of Things and Machine Learning.

Session 21: Math for life

In this session we see mathematics as a fundamental tool to have a fulfilled life. How it influences each area of ​​our lives, the importance of working on basics, the best tools and online resources and how to make math mind maps.

Session 23: Personal Action Plan

In this session we review the personal areas that we have seen throughout the training, how we have improved our mentality, ability to take action, perseverance, goals, etc. The objective is for adolescents to make a plan of action and follow-up.

Session 2: Your Brain, your Supercomputer

In this session teens discover the almost limitless potential of their brains. The goal is to realize that potential without practice is nothing, that perseverance leads to intelligence and how you can study to get the most out of your supercomputer.

Session 4: Positive Mindset

In this session Nick Vudicic accompanies us, who was born without hands and legs and achieved everything in his life. We talk about the importance of the meaning we give to life events. How successful people see opportunities in problems and learning in failures.

Session 6: Reading Comprehension

In this session we see that the key to understanding is to understand the whole before its parts, for that we train the Scanning Technique. Then we learn to extract the key words from an academic text that we will later use to make the Mind Maps of the great Tony Buzán.

Session 8: Goal Setting

In this session we discovered the importance of clear objectives to obtain maximum performance. We work on the vocation, on the short, medium and long term objectives. We wrote them down, shared them, and ended up making a Vision Board that each one agrees to have in their bedroom.

Session 10: Memory techniques

In this session we learn to memorize Pablo’s favorite technique, the Image Train. We practice memorizing all kinds of concepts, mathematical formulas, and dates. The goal is for them to have immediate results so they can quickly adopt the strategies.

Session 12: The Memory palace

In this session, teens learn the memory technique used by world champion Alex Mullen, the “Palace of Memory.” each one of them builds their own palace that will help them memorize anything.

Session 14: Efficient Study

In this session we learn how to study less and have better results. On the importance of subconscious study, planning daily reviews, and how to do it using the “Plan 5”.

Session 16: Manage your time

In this session we work with the 4 quadrants of Steven Covey, each of the adolescents analyzes their daily activities to determine where they are wasting their time and how they can begin to organize themselves to have better results.

Session 18: Public Speaking

In this session we see the main strategies for speaking in public, we analyze great speeches such as “I have a dream” by Martin Luther King, each student confesses their fears of speaking in front of others and how they will face them from now on.

Session 20: Leadership and Bullying

In this session we analyze the main characteristics of leaders, that we can all be leaders and how that positively affects everyone around us. We also work on Bullying as a negative area of ​​leadership and how we can confront it.

Session 22: Academic Action Plan

In this session we review the entire study system and academic tools that we have learned. Each student analyzes what they have used and what they still need to improve. The goal of this session is for teens to develop a follow-up plan.

Session 24: Your life purpose

In this session we all cry, it is a deep session where we share our experience together, how it will help us to move forward and how we can continue to support each other. We work on the “why” we get up every day, on the Purpose of our lives
